Webmaster’s Visit Page
Here is just a sample of the many pictures I took
on my visit. I stayed one
week in the Villa with Dave, his wife Sue and his son Ross. Although I took the trip by myself, Dave was nice enough to
keep me busy by taking me to many St. Croix attractions. For each day I stayed at 2Dive4, I created a little journal
entry along with a few pictures I took with my digital camera that day. |

Fly In - June 18th, 2002
My trip started with a smooth flight on two US Airways
jets. I love to fly so flying is one of the exiting parts of my trip. As
I was flying into St. Thomas and St. Croix, I took some shots out of the
airplane window. I was really hoping to get a shot of 2Dive4 from the
air but I was not fortunate enough. Here are some photos of St. Croix as
I was flying in. |

Photo Shoot of 2Dive4 & Cane
Bay - June 19th, 2002
It
is picture time! It is my first day in St. Croix and it is time to take
those pictures! After all, you know the saying, "no work, no
play!" I took a 360-degree shot of every room in the house along
with some other random pictures. After some of my work was completed, I
visited Cane Bay. Cane bay has a nice beach, an affordable scuba-shop
and a nice bar that is within walking distance of the 2Dive4 villa. Here
is a sample of some of the pictures I took on this day. |

Cambola Bay Beach & Beer
Drinking Pigs - June 20th, 2002
Ah!
Its time for me to go to the beach! Cambola Bay beach was the second
beach that I had visited on my trip so far. Cambola Bay has a
beautiful beach and resort that is only a quick drive from 2Dive4. I
highly recommend you check out Cambola Bay and relax in one of the
resort's hammocks under a shady palm tree. After relaxing on the beach
for an hour or two, Dave, Phillip and I went to go see the famous beer
drinking pigs at the Domino club. Those pigs sure are funny! Here are
some pictures. |

Buck Island - June 21st,
2002
My
trip to Buck Island might have been the highlight of my trip to St.
Croix. President JFK proclaimed Buck Island to be a national reserve.
Surrounding the island is a spectacular coral reef and a snorkel trail
for you to follow. When you take your trip to St. Croix, I recommend
that you go on Captain Big Beard's adventure tour to Buck Island. It is
well worth the time, money and the trip. As we arrived on Buck Island, a
huge southern stingray greeted us.
The crew of our boat gave the stingray the name, Samantha (or
just "Sam" for short). Each of us swam with this marvelous
monster of a stingray and some of us had a chance to pet it. It was
quite a unique experience. After swimming around with Samantha, we took
a swim on the snorkel trail. I must have said "wow" to myself
about a billion times when I was snorkeling around. The coral and the
tropical fish were so beautiful. Here are some pictures of Buck Island,
Sam and me on Captain Big Beard's boat. |

Divi Divi Casino - June 22nd,
2002
Well,
I am not so lucky when it comes to gambling but I had a good time on my
trip to the Divi Divi Casino. The Divi Casino is the only casino on the
Virgin Islands. The casino is very nice and has just about every game
you can play. After playing the quarter slots with Dave and Sue, Dave
took me on a snorkeling swim around the Divi Bay. I swear,
everywhere you go on St. Croix you can find good snorkeling! Here
are some pictures of Divi and Casino. |

Natural Pool - June 23rd,
2002
On
this day, Dave, Phillip and I took a trip to see the natural pool. The
natural pool is a spot on the shore where water is collected naturally
by ocean waves. There are some fish and some cool rock formations. Dave
has some funny names for some of the neat rock formations. For example,
the "foot washer" is a spot where you cab sit down, put your
feet in a hole and a wave will wash your feet! The pool is a great place
to visit if you want to go out and hike St. Croix. Bring your camera
because there are a couple awesome panoramic views on the way there! |

Cruzan Rum Distillery &
Rainbow Beach- June 24th, 2002
One
of the cool things I did on this trip was to tour the Cruzan Rum
distillery. For only four bucks, you can get a neat tour of the Cruzan
Rum distillery. It was very
interesting to see the huge fermenting tanks and to learn about the many
facts of how rum is made. You also get a free drink at the end! Dave and
I had also stopped at Rainbow Beach to snorkel. I was lucky enough to
see a huge sea turtle walk up on the beach. I wish I had my camera to
show you! Here are some pictures of the rum distillery and a picture I
took at Rainbow beach. |

Spear Fishing - June 25th,
2002
This
was my last day in paradise and I ended my trip with a blast!!!
Phillip was really nice to take us out spear fishing directly out front
of the 2Dive4 villa. Not only was the fishing fun but also the
view of the coral and ocean floor was very cool. I must have had
beginners luck because I shot a 3ft long Barracuda fish!!! Not only was
my fish the first one to be shot, but also it was the biggest of the
bunch! I really had a good time. Dave and Phillip shot five other fish.
Philip and I had fried a couple of them up for a tasty lunch. After
eating a special fresh fish lunch, it was time to get ready to go back
home. I really didn't want to go home! Here are some pictures of our
fish. |

I highly recommend 2Dive4 because of it's beautiful
villa and the friendly people who make it all possible.
Thanks Dave and Susan for a great time!!!
